Great Neck Patch - Jake Mendlinger, June 8, 2021
Great Neck, N.Y. (June 8, 2021)— The Great Neck Water Pollution Control District (GNWPCD) recently welcomed State Assemblywoman Gina Sillitti to its water treatment facility for a tour of its operations. During the informative meeting, the Assemblywoman was brought up to date on what makes the GNWCPD one of the most energy-efficient, environmentally-friendly and cost-effective wastewater treatment facilities on Long Island.
“It was a pleasure to show Assemblywoman Sillitti the operation of the facility at the Great Neck Water Pollution Control District,” said GNWPCD Chairman Steve Reiter. “When our elected officials see what we do firsthand, it provides them with a greater understanding of the importance of our work and some of the issues we face in providing this service.”
